NCB awards $5,750 in scholarships to local students

National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution which provides banking products and services to Southern Ohio and the nation's cooperatives, their members, and other socially responsible organizations, has awarded five scholarships to students in Highland County.  

NCB awarded three Ernie Blankenship Athletic Scholarships in memory of long-time employee and community member Ernie Blankenship. The recipients will receive $1,250 toward furthering their education. The winners are:


Addyson Miles – Hillsboro High School
Kaden Penwell – Greenfield-McClain High School
Addison West – Lynchburg-Clay High School

NCB also awards a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior at each of the schools that participate in the Money Matters Financial Literacy program that the bank sponsors. This year’s winners are:

Halle Reveal – Hillsboro High School
Jake Ward – Whiteoak High School
