Mowrystown resident receives academic award

Mowrystown resident Stephanie Docter, an early childhood education major at Cedarville University, recently received the Jack “J.D.” Willets Alumni Scholarship Award during the University’s Honors Day event.

The scholarship is given to a sophomore or junior who excels in preparation for a career in education.

Docter is the daughter of Jeff and Melissa Docter of Mowrystown.

Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University attracts 3,200 undergraduate, graduate, and online students to more than 100 areas of study.
