Moberly named Good Citizen Student of Highland County

Trey Moberly, a senior at Hillsboro High School, was recently presented with the Good Citizen Student award by Elissa Zornes of Waw-wil-a-way, the local chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution [DAR].

The DAR sponsors the Good Citizen program to recognize outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

Not only was Moberly selected as the Good Citizen Student for HHS, but he also was recognized as the top student county-wide.

Moberly has been very active in school and community activities. Not only does he possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism, but he shows commitment, integrity and respect in addition. He is a genuine, disciplined and respected student leader.

Moberly plans to receive his college education through an accelerated-pace medical school program and is currently considering becoming an orthopedic surgeon, diagnosing and treating patients who have suffered their injuries through athletics.
