MHS show choir to present "Spectacular"

On Saturday, May 7, the McClain show choir, "A Touch of Class," will present its annual variety show, "Spectacular." This year's theme is "Billboard: Top Ten." The show will feature top 10 hits spanning several decades. The show will include songs and dances that have been featured on the radio for many years.
Show choir members will sing and dance to such hits as "Another One Bites the Dust," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Pinball Wizard," "Jump" and "Fireflies." The girls will be featured in the hit song "Fallin' For You," while the male members of the choir will sing and dance to "Greased Lightning," the smash hit from the Broadway musical "Grease." Members of the group will also present selections which feature the musical talents of individual choir members.
The show choir has performed in many arenas, including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the United Nations, EPCOT at Disney World, and the Mall of America. The group also performs for area businesses and organizations. This show is a fundraiser that enables the group to take future trips in which they gain valuable experience as performers.
