McClain Performing Arts Boosters presents 'Opening Night' on Oct. 22

On Saturday, Oct. 22, the McClain Performing Arts Boosters will present their annual "Opening Night" production. The theme for this year's show is "Radio Waves."
The show will feature the show choir, symphonic choir and the concert choir, along with songs, dances, skits and a gymnastics routine. The additional acts will be performed by current McClain High School students. The show will be hosted by seniors Caleb Mootispaw and Wes Frampton. In addition, several alumni will perform vocal solos.
In years past, the themes for the show have included "Musical Mania," "Hollywood," "Good Rockin' Tonight" and "'70s, '80s, '90s and Now." It has been a tradition for many years. The show promises to be very entertaining for all who attend.
There will be a matinee show at 3 p.m. and an evening show at 7:30 p.m. Admission for the matinee is $4. Admission for the evening show is $5. There are approximately 140 students involved in the production. All proceeds will benefit the vocal music department.
