McClain FFA teams place in top 10 at district contest

The McClain FFA chapter had a novice and an advanced team compete in the District Parliamentary Procedure Contest. The contest was held on Dec. 1, 2016. Both teams placed within the top ten teams out of the 38 schools in District 9. 

The Parliamentary Procedure Contest is designed for the members to mock an official meeting while demonstrating their knowledge of parliamentary laws.

The novice team was composed of Meg O'Connor, Harley Penwell, Katie Graham, Dakota Bland, Justin Hall, Beckley Smith, Thomas Rutherford and Haley Hinkle. The advanced team was composed of Madison Schumacher, Courtney Dodds, James Looney, Heidi Rolfe, Kendall Pollard and Emily Jones. 

The chapter is very proud of all of the accomplishments from this contest.
