McClain FFA moves on to District Parliamentary Procedure contest

The McClain FFA chapter had two teams compete in the Sub-District Parliamentary Procedure Contest. The contest was held at Peebles High School on Nov. 22.
 
The contestants mock a chapter meeting in order to demonstrate their knowledge of parliamentary law and various parliamentary procedures. The contest also includes a test over the general knowledge of parliamentary rules.

The chapter had a Novice Parliamentary team and an Advanced Parliamentary team. The Novice team was composed of Meg O'Connor, Harley Penwell, Katie Graham, Dakota Bland, Justin Hall, Thomas Rutherford, Beckley Smith and Haley Hinkle. This team placed first in their contest.

The Advanced team was composed of Madison Schumacher, Courtney Dodds, Kendall Pollard, Heidi Rolfe, James Looney and Emily Jones. This team placed second in their contest.

Both teams will be moving on to the District Parliamentary Procedure contest. The chapter is very proud of the accomplishments of both teams and wish the members the best of luck in the upcoming contest.
