McClain FFA hosts Job Interview Contest

On Thursday, Nov. 3, the McClain FFA chapter competed in the Sub-District Job Interview Contest.

This contest is designed for the members to develop and demonstrate the skills that are needed to seek employment in the agricultural industry. Each participant must prepare a cover letter and resume, interview with a panel of judges and write a follow-up letter after the interview.

Our chapter had a member from each division qualify to advance to the District Job Interview Contest. The participants from our chapter included Cierra Bolender, Dakota Bland, Bryn Karnes, Emily Jones, Morgan Faulconer, Jadelyn Bentley, Whitney Blazer and Madison Schumacher.

This contest was hosted at McClain High School, and our chapter appreciates everyone who traveled to the school to compete or help judge this contest. We congratulate everyone on their accomplishments at this contest and wish the best of luck to those who are advancing to Districts.
