McClain FFA competes in Ashland Invitational

The Ashland Invitational was held on March 18. The McClain FFA chapter was represented at this contest in the General Livestock, Equine, Poultry and Wildlife Interpretation portions of the contest.

These spring Career Development Events allow the members to effectively make decisions and be confident in those choices.

The McClain FFA General Livestock judging team placed second. Madison Schumacher was the highest-scoring individual on the team, placing second overall.

The Equine Management team placed fifth, the Poultry Judging team placed eighth and the Wildlife Interpretation team placed 21st.

The chapter appreciates those from Ashland County who put on the contest to better prepare the members for the state competition.
