Lead Summary
By
Brooklyn Baldwin-
This past week, McClain FFA joined 70,000 other FFA members in Indianapolis, Ind. for the highly anticipated National Convention. Members look forward to this trip and the gathering of FFA members for months, and McClain FFA had a jam-packed trip.

On Wednesday, McClain FFA left home to travel to the Beck’s tour in Atlanta, Ind. Members got to tour the whole facility and learn more about the history of the seed company. They also went to a jump park later that evening.

Then, on Thursday, McClain FFA was up bright and early for two sessions at the convention center and got to spend time at the FFA expo. At one of the sessions, McClain FFA received recognition for being a National Chapter. Then, they went to the Indy Scream Park, where laughs were shared and memories were made.

On Friday, some members went to the Indy 500 Racetrack and spent the evening at another general session, where McClain alumna Blythe Bolender was recognized for being one of the top 4 in the nation for her swine proficiency.

To wrap up the McClain FFA Chapter's National Convention experience, Alex Snyder and Caleb Cook received their American Degrees. The American Degree is the highest level an FFA member can reach.
