McClain FFA Agriculture Engineering team places 7th in Ohio

The McClain FFA Agriculture Engineering team recently placed seventh in the state.

This team consisted of Braden Wright, David Edwards and Cade Sponcil.

In this contest, students perform mechanical skills necessary to pursue career opportunities in the agricultural industry. They learn how to apply technical knowledge and skills to electrical and hydraulic systems in relation to hot and cold metals.

Additionally, students apply skill components of metal fabrication applicable to the agricultural industry. Throughout this competition, students learn personal safety as well as communication and leadership skills.

McClain FFA would like to give a special thanks to Eric Anderson and Teagan White for their help throughout this competition.
