McClain FFA ag communications team among top 5 state placers

Huge congratulations to the McClain FFA agriculture communications team, who finished fifth in the state and first in the district at the contest Saturday, Feb. 12.
The contest prepares students for practical communications skills to pursue career opportunities in agricultural communications. The team consisted of Kenedi Wise, Miranda Alexander, Katie Cook and Brooklyn Baldwin.
The girls worked hard to develop a media plan, a team presentation, design a website, write a blog post and a news release. They also had a team presentation over a media plan.
We would like to congratulate Baldwin, a freshman, for earning high individual award in the state.
We would also like to thank the 2021 state-winning Ag Comm team, Natalie Rolfe, Aly Murphy and Blythe Bolender, for all their help preparing this year’s team.
