McClain FFA 3rd in state Ag Communications contest

The McClain FFA chapter competed in the Agricultural Communications contest on Feb. 11.

The contest prepares students for careers in journalism, radio and television broadcast, web design and marketing. This is accomplished through the writing of press releases and blog posts and through the creation of websites and videos. The members were also required to create a media plan for an advertising pitch.

The McClain team placed first in the district and placed third at the state level. The team was composed of Heidi Rolfe, Madison Schumacher, Morgan Faulconer and Emily Jones.
