McClain class of 1957 celebrates 60th reunion

The McClain High School class of 1957 held its 60th reunion on July 8 at the Greenfield Historical Society’s Greenfield Grain and Hay Building.
Each table was centered with an arrangement of purple and gold flowers, which were later given to members.

Following a social hour, a buffet dinner was provided by members of the Historical Society.
President Ed Hamilton was in charge of the program. Cora Hamilton gave a tribute to class members deceased since the last reunion. A short history of the Historical Society was given by Harold Schmidt.
Those attending were: Ramon Weller of Yucaipa, Calif.; Charline and Stephen Powell of Flowery Branch, Ga.; Cora and Ed Hamilton (both members) of Blountville, Tenn.; Teresa Roll of Chicago, Ill.; Suzanne Johnson of Loveland; B.J. and Steve Pucher of Cincinnati; Sally Heckman of Delaware; Dick Karnes Clifton and Phyllis Reeder of Blanchester; Sam Blackstone of Columbus; Marilyn Perkins and Sue and Don Woodland of Springfield; Arline Bayless of Wilmington; Millie and Carol Hill of Chillicothe; Joyce Bower of London; Molly Baxla and Carolyn and Joe Wise of Hillsboro; Maxine Curry and Melinda Shafer of Leesburg; Judy Gill of South Salem; Bobbi and Bruce Von Bargen, Ellie and Ron Dowler, Dotti and David Moon, Silver and Hershel Maxie and Mary Stolsenberg of Washington Court House; and Shirley Shields, Rosalee Hill, Wanda Compton, Earnie Roll, Sherry Hizer, Debbie Kessler, Buck Rooks, Marilyn and Dick Easter, Barbara Current and Charlotte Easter of Greenfield.
