McClain announces grand march route

McClain High School will be hosting its annual prom Saturday, with the grand march beginning at 7:15 p.m. for those wanting to take pictures of the students.
The grand march will start on the southeast side of the school by the ramp on Sixth Street. Students will come through the white doors as their names are announced by staff, will turn left and will continue walking around the block in front of the school. They will turn left on Fifth Street, walk under the colonnades and then proceed to turn and continue up the ramp in front of the elementary school.

From there, they will walk straight until they reach the second set of colonnades, and they will follow the sidewalk to the other side of the colonnades until they reach their finishing area, the little courtyard outside of the gym.
Those wanting to take pictures are welcome to stand anywhere along this route in order to take pictures.
