The Lynchburg Lions Club sponsors two $500 scholarships for selected high school students. This funding is made possible by the club’s annual candy sale.

This year’s recipients are Addison West and Jayden Hixson. Both recipients graduated from Lynchburg-Clay High School this spring.

Both students have been active in several community service projects, and they have also been very active in high school events.

West is the daughter of Matt and Amy West of the Allensburg area, and Hixson is the son of Allan and Heather Hixson of the Pricetown area.

The Lynchburg Lions Club congratulates West and Hixson for their accomplishments and wishes them the best in the future.
