Lynchburg-Clay Schools honors outgoing board members

At the December meeting, Lynchburg-Clay Board of Education Vice President Steve Allen and Board member Bob Stevens were recognized for their service to the district.
 
Both will end their tenure on the board this month.

Mr. Allen has served on the board for 28 years and Mr. Stevens has served for 18 years.

"Both were a part of the new building project and have overseen many improvements to the facilities over the last several years," said Shane Shope, Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools superintendent.

"Their leadership has provided a marked improvement in student achievement as well as maintaining the financial integrity of the district. The staff, students and community are very grateful for their service."[[In-content Ad]]
