Lynchburg-Clay FFA ranked in top 10 chapters in Ohio

Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter recently received word that they are ranked in the top 10 Overall chapters in Ohio.

There are nearly 300 chapters in Ohio. 

This prestigious ranking is the result of the National Chapter Award competition. Chapters are evaluated on nine FFA activities that are divided into three categories: Student Development, Chapter Development, and Community Development.

For the first time ever, Lynchburg-Clay FFA is ranked in the top 10 chapters in each of the three categories. The activities that they chose to submit for the competition included: Annual Truck and Tractor Pull, Annual Equipment, Consignment Auction, and Helping Hands projects.



Select members of the chapter will develop a presentation to give to a panel of judges on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Ohio FFA Center.

The presentation will be based on the activities included in the application portion of the competition and must be ten minutes in length and will have a five minute question/answer section.

Final placings will be determined at this time.

There are 78 high school members and four graduate members in the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter.

The chapter is advised by Mrs. Stacie McKee. 



The Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter would like to thank all that have helped out our chapter in order to make all of our activities a success throughout the school year!
