Lynchburg-Clay FFA members earn Ohio FFA Degree

At the 86th State FFA Convention, four Lynchburg-Clay FFA members earned the distinct honor of receiving their State FFA Degree.

The State FFA Degree is the highest honor that the Ohio FFA Association can bestow upon its members for their success in FFA and SAE activities.

In order to qualify for the honor, members must participate in at least two State Career Development Events (CDEs), five state or national FFA events, and earn $3,000-$4,000 from their own Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) programs.

It is with honor that I congratulate the following members on behalf of the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter: Julie Arnett, Kirsten Banks, Lacie Evans and Heather Thomas.

Julie Arnett is the daughter of Scott and Jo Heather Arnett. Julie is currently serving in her second term as the Lynchburg-Clay FFA President. Her SAE program consists of working on the family farm and raising beef cattle and goats.

Kirsten Banks is the daughter of Bob and Laurie Banks. Kirsten served as the Chapter Treasurer. Her SAE program consists of working on their family grain farm and working at their mechanic shop.

Lacie Evans is the daughter of Bob and Teresa Evans. Lacie served as the Chapter’s Student Advisor. Lacie’s SAE involves raising beef cattle.

Heather Thomas is the daughter of Dawn and Bob Young. Heather served as the Historian and her SAE involves working in the family feed store and caring for horses.

Congratulations to all the Lynchburg-Clay FFA members who received their State FFA Degree this year.
