On Nov. 8, the Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter attended the second annual Ohio State FFA Day at The Ohio State University in Columbus.

Thirty different high schools attended this event with over 800 high school students in attendance; 16 students from Lynchburg-Clay participated.

After a period of interactive games and challenges among the high school students, the group heard from representatives from the OSU College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences.

During this presentation, agriculture careers and majors at OSU were discussed.

Afterward, those in attendance were able to attend an OSU Men’s Hockey game. OSU hosted Niagara in an exciting game. OSU was successful by winning the game with a score of 4-1.

The FFA members that attended learned about various opportunities in agriculture and appreciated being able to watch a collegiate hockey game.
