Levi Goble earns Franklin B. Walter Award

Lynchburg-Clay High School senior Levi Goble was the 2014 Highland County recipient of the Franklin B. Walter Award given to one senior in each of Ohio's 88 counties.

Levi is the son of James and Rebecca Goble of Hillsboro.

According to the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center, "the Franklin B. Walter (FBW) All-Scholastic Award was created in 1990 by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) to honor Franklin B. Walter, past Superintendent of Public Instruction in Ohio, and to recognize one top student scholar from each county in Ohio."

"Congratulations to Levi and his family," the Lynchburg-Clay website stated. "He exemplifies what it means to be a champion in the classroom and an ambassador for our community."
