LC FFA participates in the 'Agriculture is Everyone's Business' event

Both through service to others and knowledge acquired by our elders, some of the Lynchburg-Clay FFA members learned a valuable lesson by none other than “The Voice of Agriculture” himself, Mr. Orion Samuelson.

Devoting a morning to their FFA chapter, Lynchburg-Clay members attended the “Agriculture is Everyone’s Business” event on Friday, Jan. 18, hosted by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce at Southern State Community College.

The students worked with other FFA chapters from around the county in serving breakfast to all attending the breakfast event. They then enjoyed a breakfast themselves while listening to the many speakers addressing issues in agriculture.

The day was filled with fun and service to community around us, along with wisdom acquired by those who have walked before us. We would like to thank the Highland County Chamber of Commerce for including us in this special agriculture event!
