Four Laurel Oaks students were honored by their teachers and peers as Students of the Month for April and May 2011.
 
April Students of the Month:
Junior – Randall Young – Pre-Engineering – Blanchester
“Randy Young is an outstanding student, is accelerating his skills in machining and welding in the Pre-Engineering program at Laurel Oaks! Randy is always willing to help and eager to learn; a very high caliber student,” states Mr. Felts, Pre-Engineering Instructor.
 
Senior – Brianna Knisley – Sports Rehab – East Clinton
Mr. Robinson, Sports Rehabilitation and Therapy Instructor states, “Brianna is a great student and Leader, works hard and is always striving for perfection.  She will be missed in our program.  Expect great things from her as she heads off to college.”
 
May Students of the month:
Junior – Julee Howard – Cosmetology – Hillsboro
Cosmetology Instructor Debby Neu states, “Julee is always on top of assignments, respectful of others. She interacts well with peers and is a good student.”
 
Senior – David May – Auto Collision – Wilmington
Mr. Wells, Auto Collision Instructor says, “David is a reliable and productive student, he works hard and is very willing to learn. His goal is to expand his education into the collision field or join the marines.”
 
 
These students were chosen for their excellent work in classes, leadership, attendance, and the support they showed their programs, the Laurel Oaks Campus, their home school, and their community.
