Laurel Oaks student wins Clinton County School Business Advisory Council Speech Contest

Kyle Garrison, a Laurel Oaks Sports Rehabilitation and Therapy student from Blanchester High School, recently received $100 and a plaque for his oratory skills.
He was chosen as this year’s winner in the annual Clinton County Schools Business Advisory Council speech contest.
Each year, one student is selected from each Clinton County school competes in a speech contest.
Each student is given the same speech that was written years ago by fellow Clinton county resident, Elmer A. Williams. The speech is titled “I Speak for Youth.”
The speech is rated on poise, diction, expression, gestures, sincerity, and overall delivery.
