Laurel Oaks honors Students of the Month for December 2012

Four Laurel Oaks students were honored by their teachers and peers as Students of the Month for December 2012.
December Academic:
Junior - Chloe Greenlee - ECE - Washington Court House
English Instructor Mr. Robinson states, “Chloe always puts her best effort into her work and has impressive ability. She also has an infectious positive attitude.”
Senior - Courtney Keeton - Health Tech -Washington Court House
Guidance counselor Mr. Anderson says, “Courtney currently has straight A’s and had a 3.714 GPA the first 9 weeks. Courtney is a student that works hard every day and does what is expected of a model student. She has also only missed two school days this year.”
These students were chosen for their good grades, excellent work in classes, leadership, attendance and the support they showed their programs, the Laurel Oaks Campus, their home school and their community.
December Character:
Junior - Alex Everhart - Auto Mechanic - Fairfield
Guidance counselor Mr. Anderson states, “Alex always seems to have a smile on his face. He is outgoing and polite. Alex made sure that he collected work for his girlfriend while she was out for an extended period of time.”
Senior - Brittany Hottinger - Health Technology -Wilmington
Guidance counselor Mr. Anderson states, “Brittany is always so very pleasant. She is well-respected by her peers and a wonderful role model. Brittany goes out of her way to help others around her.”
These students were chosen for their positive attitude character traits, working to their full potential, excellent behavior in class and on school grounds, work completed on time, tolerance and acceptance of others, good character, hard work and honesty.[[In-content Ad]]
