Honors Choirs held Nov. 3

The 16th annual District 16 Honors Choir was held on Nov. 3.

Buckskin and Rainsboro Elementary Schools sent 19 students. They were Zach Anderson, Taylor Bond, Kathryn Graham, Caleb Goddard, Justin Hall, Robert Lanning, Jorden Rose, Erin Saunders, Megan Snodgrass, Daylon Adams, Baylee Carey, Hayden Daugherty, Haylee Fields, Blake Gall, Jade Neukam, Clayton Purvis, Marissa Seely, Madison Stapleton, and Audrey Tharp.

There were 159 students in all who attended. The other students were from Bright Local Elementary, Hamersville Middle School, Lynchburg-Clay Elementary, Ripley ULH Elementary and Middle School, Washington Middle School, Hillsboro Elementary, Russellville Elementary, West Union Elementary, Fairfield Local Elementary, Mt. Orab Middle School, and Sardinia Elementary.

The students worked for weeks preparing the music. The choir was directed by Dr. Eva Floyd. The students practiced all day and then performed five songs in a concert that evening.
