Holly Hilliard named to Duke University dean's list

DURHAM, N.C. – Hillsboro High School graduate Holly Hilliard has been named to the dean’s list with distinction at Duke University for the Spring 2012 semester.

Hilliard was among 1,960 students who achieved that honor (1,357 on the dean’s list; 603 on the dean’s list with distinction).

In order to make the Arts & Sciences dean’s list, students must rank in the top third of their college; for dean’s list with distinction, the top 10th of their college.  

At the Pratt School of Engineering, students must rank in the top third within their academic class to make the dean’s list; for dean’s list with distinction, the top 10th within their academic class.

Holly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Hilliard of Hillsboro.
