Hillsboro's Gilliland to perform with Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra

Hillsboro High School trombonist Gabe Gilliland has been accepted to the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Gilliland was selected by audition for this prestigious ensemble.  The DPYO will be performing three concerts at Dayton's Schuster Center, on Dec. 8, March 8 and May 10, all starting at 3 p.m. 

Gilliland is an incoming senior member of Hillsboro High School’s Symphonic Band. His other accomplishments include membership in the Cincinnati Youth Jazz Ensemble, OMEA All-State Band, OMEA District Honor Band and the Land of Grant Honor Band.
