Hillsboro students tour Washington, D.C., Gettysburg

Eighth-grade students from Hillsboro Middle School toured Washington, D.C. and Gettysburg, Pa. from April 8-10.

Highlights from the trip included a tour of the U.S. Capitol, a performance at Ford's Theater, a wreath ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, and a tour at Gettysburg.

Also, students visited the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, the Smithsonian of Air and Space, and other sites and attractions.
