Hillsboro student is co-chair of Wilmington College organization

Hillsboro resident Shana R. Florence of Mad River Road, is serving as publicity co-chairman of the Activities Programming Board at Wilmington College.
Florence, a junior majoring in sport management, is a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
The Wilmington College Activities Programming Board (APB) serves as the overall coordinating body for all student activities and programs. It is APB's goal to develop and maintain quality, diversity, and regularity in all student programs and activities.
As a branch of the Student Government Association, APB works cooperatively with all SGA recognized student organizations to better plan, coordinate, and evaluate campus programming. Through this coordinated effort, APB hopes to encourage a greater sense of unity and participation in activities throughout the campus community.

Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers), is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.
