On April 8, after a two-year cancellation due to the pandemic, the Hillsboro High School Senior Showcase was able to happen once again.

Over 20 businesses came together to offer networking and job opportunities for HHS juniors and seniors. For many students, this was the first time they have experienced a job fair. This allowed for students to practice soft skills that are so necessary for the workplace.

Several businesses allowed for résumés and applications to be turned in for summer internships/jobs and part-time/full-time employment.

“This is our favorite career-based event to promote local jobs and continue to grow our community with new faces entering the workforce,” HHS guidance counselor Jessica Rhoades said.
