The Hillsboro High School prom was held April 29 at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington. The event was hosted by the junior class and Mrs. Jones.

The junior class advisers were Marah Roush, Allison Browning, Rylie Scott and Morgan Garman.

The prom queen was Brooklyn Minton, and the prom king was Travis Ross. The court also included Peyton Aber, Austin Barrett, Allison Browning, Tatum Burns, Jolee Cummings, Caiden Fauber, Morgan Garman, Kelsey Gilkinson, Hannah Holland, Madisyn Hollen, Steven Kibler, Ian Lawson, Gary Reno, Carson Scott, Samantha Smith and Jackson Wagoner.

After the Grand March, which began at 5 p.m, students took pictures with friends and family before boarding the buses.

When students returned to the school later that night, they were given an opportunity to change before heading up to the elementary for after prom. There were snacks, bounce houses, laser tag, tie-dye and more.

Thank you to the sponsors who helped make the prom a success: Hillsboro Mayor's Office, Southern Hills Community Bank, Retro Foam, Country Manor Mixes, NCB, Howland Asphalt, Merchants National Bank, The Porch and Full Spectrum Graphics.
