Hillsboro High School has announced the following students of the month for January.
• Math Department: Morgan Kelch. Morgan’s positive attitude brightens any day. She consistently strives to do her best but also asks for help to understand and to learn something new or challenging. She is a model student who never stops working and learning. She is an absolute joy to have in class.
• English Department: Rylee Harper. Rylee’s genuine and natural interest in acquiring knowledge is admirable and inspiring. Her inquisitive nature drives her to dive deep into learning; she doesn’t just know a little something about everything – she knows A LOT about everything and shares her insight with all.
• Science Department: Blair Gard. Blair shows up with a positive attitude and a smile. She works hard to succeed and is willing to help others. Her work is top-notch, and with her great, positive attitude, she is an amazing student role model.
• Social Studies Department: Kelsey Bussell. Kelsey always comes to class with a positive attitude and a smile. She has shown excellence this year in her American History class through hard work and study. It has been an honor watching her growth over the last two years.
• Intervention Department: Atrayu Frump. Atrayu comes to class every day and shows great work ethic and perseverance in his classes. He is a pleasure to have in class because of his consistent work ethic and determination.
• Electives Department: Isabelle Addison. Isabelle is an incredibly productive art student, not only producing art here at school but at home as well. She is the embodiment of dedication to her art and art process. Isabelle (Zee) was recently accepted into the Art Academy of Cincinnati – her dream school. Congratulations to Zee.
• Ag/Industrial Arts Department: Noah Howard. Noah has great attendance, a great attitude, always shows respect and always comes to school prepared to weld. He has taken on extra responsibilities on top of his regular class work by taking lead on building our welding booths.
• Student Services: Carey Skeens. Carey has been an office aide for Mrs. Juillerat during her time in high school. Carey is reliable and very knowledgeable about her job. She is a hard-working student who displays a caring, helpful attitude in everything she does. She always volunteers to go over and above when needed.
Special thank-you to Papa Johns of Hillsboro for sponsoring the January students of the month.
