During this visit, Mrs. Wilt, the owner of Patchwork, showed the seven members around the garden center business and explained the process the plants go through during their time in the greenhouse.

After the tour, the Hillsboro FFA greenhouse class purchased several different plants to bring back to Hillsboro High School and grow in their greenhouse. Later on in the year, the Hillsboro FFA greenhouse class will be selling hanging pots, bedding plants, deck planters and more that include some of the plugs that were bought during their trip to Patchwork Gardens.
