On Jan. 13, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter had dedicated members travel to Talawanda to participate in the highly competitive District Food Science Career Development Event (CDE) Contest.

This event serves as a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate and expand their knowledge of the food science industry, testing their expertise in various areas such as product identification, sensory tasting and food safety.

The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA members truly demonstrated their hard work putting their best foot forward to excel in this contest. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and achievements at the District Food Science CDE and look forward to seeing how their experiences in this competition will continue to grow and shape their futures in the food industry and beyond.
