Two Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA chapter officers attended the annual Telethon event supporting the Highland County area.
The Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon is a tradition here in our area. The event brings businesses, organizations and individuals together to raise money for those in need. This night of service allows for purchasing medical equipment, assistance and other requirements to fit others' specific needs.
Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA was represented by Addy Knauff, Vice President, and Corbin Winkle, Treasurer. These two senior members and chapter officers brought with them a $200 donation for this good cause. This is something that the local FFA chapter has been honored to be a part of over the past couple of years.
The 53rd annual Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon was a huge success, raising over $166,303. We applaud the efforts of everyone involved in this cause and who will make the lives of others more comfortable.
After talking to Addy Knauff, Vice President of the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA, she shared this: “It’s always so rewarding to be able to give back to our community that has given so much to me, and lots of young people like me.”
Along those same lines, there were so many other groups that are passionate about supporting local fundraisers like this one, a true reward of living in our great community of Hillsboro. The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter would like to thank and congratulate all who worked with the 53rd annual Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon.
