Brittany Rhoads won third in her market class and won Egg and Poultry Judging overall. Alora Brown was a first-time exhibitor, and she placed third in her market weight class.

Other Hillsboro FFA exhibitors were Hayden Miller, Riley Burba, Ben Remsing, Caleb Knight, Schuyler Griffith and Regan Kiley.

“Showing chickens was kind of scary for my first time,” Brown said. “Looking back, it was a great experience, and I really enjoyed it.”

Kiley also had a learning experience this year, saying, “Even though I didn’t place at my show, I still learned a lot, and it is just going to help me prepare for next year and to keep improving each year I show.”

The Hillsboro FFA chapter and Poultry Association would like to thank the buyers and community for supporting the county fair and for having a great year.
