On February 19, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter participated in the Wilmington livestock judging contest.

The chapter placed 11th over all out of 48 other teams.

We would like to congratulate Aaron Miller for placing 9th out of over 500 other contestants!

In total, 37 students from Hillsboro FFA participated in the General Livestock Judging Contest, and 7 students participated in the Equine Judging contest. During the contests, students learn to make quick decisions and evaluate livestock characteristics. The Wilmington Aggies contest marks the beginning of the Spring judging season.

Students from the Hillsboro FFA will be participating in Saturday morning contests throughout the month of March.
