During the week of the 2019 Highland County Fair, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter participated in many Junior Fair exhibits, from vegetables to woodworking.
Trinity Edenfield, a freshman member of the Hillsboro FFA chapter, entered some of her own crops as an exhibit and received a first-place trophy for her fruit basket and vegetable basket. She also received a grade A in all of her exhibits.
Another freshman member of the Hillsboro FFA, Brogen Priest, entered a woodworking project and said, “I had a lot of fun building my project, and I learned a lot.” Serena Humphrey, a sophomore member, exhibited her scrapbooking skills and received a grade A as well.

Members from the chapter also assisted in “A Day in the Ring,” which allowed children with disabilities to participate in an open goat show put on by the Junior Fair Board. There were eight participants in the show who had a great time making friends with the helpers, walking their goats around the ring and answering questions pertaining to their animal.
The Hillsboro FFA Chapter would like to thank the members of the Junior Fair Board for helping with these projects and supporting our participants.
