Hillsboro FFA officers attend 'Ag is Everyone's Business'

On Friday, Jan. 22, the Hillsboro FFA Officer Team attended the Highland County Chamber of Commerce’s event, “Ag is Everyone’s Business.”

The officers helped serve food and drinks to all in attendance for the event. When the program began, attendees listened to the 2015 Ohio Fairs’ Queen, Sarah Everhart, from Ross County.

The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. John Phipps. Phipps was the former host of U.S. Farm Report and is currently a contributing editor of Farm Journal and Top Producer.

When the speaker was finished, three toy tractors were auctioned off. The proceeds from one of the tractors will be split among all five of the county FFA Chapters, all of which were represented at the event.

The Hillsboro FFA officers would like to thank the Highland County Chamber of Commerce for allowing us to participate in the event.
