Hillsboro FFA officer team attends 8th annual Ag is Everyone's Business

By
Lawton Parry-
On Feb. 24, Ag is Everyone’s Business was held at Southern State Community College.

Tickets were $20 and included breakfast. The event was sponsored by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce and started at 8 a.m.

Seven of the Hillsboro FFA officers volunteered at the event. The students helped serve food and wait tables.

This year, the speaker was Ohio State Governor Mike DeWine. FFA members had the opportunity to meet Mr. DeWine and get a picture with him.

After the speech, there were breakout sessions of different ag-related topics. At the end of the event, students helped clean up.
