Hillsboro FFA members win Parliamentary Procedure Contest

On Nov. 21, members of the Hillsboro FFA chapter competed in the 2017 Parliamentary Procedure (Parli Pro) Sub-Districts Contest.
During this competition, members are challenged to proficiently run a proper meeting of a deliberative assembly. The members are judged and scored on their understanding and performance of their specified ability and on their knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order.

The Sub-Districts contest was held at Lynchburg-Clay High School, where the members competed against schools around the county.
The members who competed for the Hillsboro FFA were Lexey Hetzel, Joe Helterbrand, Zinny Adams, Heather Burba, Kirsten Harp, Lana Grover and Riley Burba. The hard work and efforts of these members resulted in the team winning the Sub-Districts contest, which then allowed them to go and compete at the district level. Congratulations to those members.
