Members competed in a fitting contest, public speaking, salesmanship, showmanship, livestock judging and quiz bowl. Each event that members participated in earned points for their state. Ohio got fourth place in the total amount of points with the help of Hillsboro FFA members.

The members also got to watch a showmanship and fitting demonstration by Sullivan's Show Supply to help strengthen their fitting and showing skills.

Hillsboro FFA member Lawton Parry summed up the week by saying, "It was a great time and I learned a lot. I can't wait until next year.”
