Hillsboro FFA members have success at Sub-District Public Speaking competition

The Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter on Feb. 11 had nine members participate at the Sub-District Public Speaking competition where it was hosted at McClain High School. 

Our members participated in Creed, Beginning Prepared, Advanced Prepared, and Extemporaneous speaking. Our Creed speakers included Abby Anderson who was 1st, Brooklyn Parker who was 2nd, Blair Gard who was 4th, and Lily Fugate. 

Next, we have Beginning Prepared speaking which we had Ann Boyd who was 1st and Bri Foxx who was 2nd. Next is the Advanced Prepared speaking and we had Claire Winkle who was 1st and Grace Allen who was 2nd. Finally, we had the Extemporaneous division where Adalyn Gaines was 1st. 

All in all, our members had a great and successful night at the Sub-District Public Speaking competition and we are looking forward to how they do in the District competition at Miami Trace.
