Hillsboro FFA members compete in livestock judging contest at Highland County Fair

Lead Summary
By
Hannah Holland-
The Hillsboro FFA chapter participated in the Highland County Fair livestock judging contest.

In this event, each individual team ranks breeding and market classes of beef, swine, goats and sheep. FFA members competing included Emma Yochum, Dalayna Collins and Corbin Winkle, who had the overall first place team.

Yochum also won first place individually, Corbin Winkle placed eighth individually.

We are proud of our FFA members and the skills they possess to judge animals and can hopefully use these skills in the future. Livestock judging is a great way for our members to learn leadership, public speaking and communication skills.
