This year for the sales presentation, the Hillsboro Ag Sales team sold feed pans. In their presentation, the members listened to the customer’s needs, assessed their current situation, explained the benefits of the product and answered any questions the customer had. All of this was done with the goal in mind of selling their product.

Similarly, in the customer relations practicum, members were given a situation and asked to assist the customer in making final selections. This year, members were given different types of dog food, and after listening to the customer’s needs, advised the customer on which dog food best suited his or her needs.

The team competed very well and placed third at districts this year. One member of the team, Kaleb Harp, placed second individually in the entire district. The Hillsboro FFA chapter would like to congratulate Kaleb and the rest of the team for this accomplishment.
