Hillsboro FFA members attend Ohio Leadership Camp

On June 24, five members of the Hillsboro FFA chapter traveled to Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum for the Ohio Leadership Camp.
During this camp, members participated in sessions of a 212/360 leadership program, where they learned about influence.
Nationwide Insurance and Farm Bureau are huge sponsors of OLC each year.

While at OLC, the five members were able to go swimming, kayaking, motor boating, canoeing, go to the shotgun range and shoot archery, along with many other fun activities.
During camp, the members are able to bond with the state officers while participating in those activities to get to know them better. This year at camp, the members had two of their very own state officers, Meredith Oglesby and Lauren Grover.
At camp, there are members from all over Ohio. Camp is one of the highlights of summer for our members.
“This is my third year going to camp, and it will always be one of my favorite memories of FFA,” junior Brittany Rhoads said. “Camp Muskingum is the happiest place on earth.”
The chapter looks forward to the knowledge and leadership abilities that these five members will bring back to the chapter.
