The Hillsboro FFA chapter held a petting zoo for the Hillsboro Preschoolers in the FFA barn. The FFA barn is located at the high school.

Students in the FFA can use this facility to house their FFA projects. The preschool students had the opportunity to see a variety of farm animals and were read a farm story. Members of the Hillsboro FFA provided the animals such as a donkey, cow, horse, pig, goat, and sheep. The preschoolers and the FFA members enjoyed the day.

Throughout the year the FFA will hold Ag day for fourth graders and Food for America for kindergartners. These activities give FFA members the opportunity to serve the community which is one of the main goals of the FFA.
