Hillsboro FFA to host 5K Fun Run/Walk

On Nov. 7, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter will be having a 5K Fun Run/Walk.

The event will take place at the Highland County Fairgrounds.

Pre-register by Oct. 24 to receive a free T-shirt. The cost is $20. Day-of-race registration will be available, but there is no guarantee of a T-shirt.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Nov. 7, and the walk/run will begin at 9 a.m.

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter is holding this event to raise money for Adopt-a-Family which is for families in Hillsboro City Schools & community. With this money, the FFA will purchase gifts and toys for these families during the holiday season. This year, the FFA hopes to support at least two families in our community during the holiday season.
