Hillsboro FFA to host 3rd annual Adopt-A-Family 5K

The Hillsboro FFA will be holding the third annual Adopt-A-Family 5K on Saturday, Oct. 21. The event will be held at Rocky Fork Lake, 9800 North Shore Drive.

Pre-registration is only $20 and includes a free T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by Oct. 12). To order additional T-shirts, click here.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. the day of the race, and the race starts at 9 am. All proceeds will be used to benefit families in need around Highland County during the holiday season.
Top male and female for each age division will be awarded. New this year is runners can also dress up in costumes, and prizes will be given to the best costumes.
Last year, 91 runners and walkers participated in the race. The FFA hopes to have an even bigger turnout this year.
